My name is Sam Lapizco. I was born on March 12, 1993 at St. Joseph’s hospital in Stamford, CT (the hospital is now the Tully Center). After school I like to go to the gym and chill with friends and sometimes I play video games when I get the chance. I am a Mexican American (although I don’t consider myself American). Both my parents are Mexican. But up to this point I don’t have a favorite subject but I will in the future.
Esperanza Barragan I was born in New York. I am Mexican-American with color changing eyes. My favorite color is black and I like to read and write poetry. I moved to Stamford, Ct when I was 4 years old and I live with my parents and my little sister. I’ve attended Stamford Academy all three years of High School and I am currently in the 12th grade. Before attending Stamford Academy, I went to Trailblazers Academy and before that I went to Hart Magnet School.

My name is Ja’Shana Myers. I was born in Stamford, Ct. I’m 15 years old. I have five sisters and one brother.
I like to dance on my free time. In school I’m thinking about trying out for Cheerleading, and helping out with our school yearbook. My favorite color is red. My favorite subjects are Math, English, and History. My favorite foods are chicken, tacos, and ice cream. I am a very cool person. I like to chill and meet new people. I don’t like phony people and veggies.

I was born on December 25th.  I go to Stamford Academy.  I love math and art, and I enjoy reading and writing poems.  I also love hanging out with my friends and going to football games on the weekends.
I also like volunteering and helping people.

My name is CJ Rivers. I am from the Village in Stamford Connecticut. I have two sisters on my mother’s side and a brother on my father’s side. In my free time I like to play football, basketball and converse with the ladies. My favorite subject in school is English.
My name is Davindra Baboolall.  I have two siblings and I am the middle child.  As a 16 year old Stamford Academy student my favorite past-time is freehand sketching.  I like to draw because it reminds of Van Gogh and Leonardo DaVinci.  My favorite subject is science, because I believe that everyone should “Go Green” and make the world better for all of us.
My name is Ariel Velasquez. I was born in Stamford Connecticut.  My parents were a big inspiration to me growing up because they overcame many obstacles growing up in a third world country and immigrated to the United States. They fought for their citizenship and received it. I am a very unique individual who was awarded Student of the Month because of my hard work and countless days of behaving in class.
My name is Omari and I am in the 11th grade. I have a younger brother and sister. I live with both of my parents and they are apart of my school work. I am the type of student that is laidback and calm but gets my work done and respects everyone I come in contact with. I’ve made a couple of friends at Stamford Academy and think the staff is very helpful and caring.
My name is Kyra McCray. I live in Meadow Gardens, Norwalk CT but was born in New York. I live with my mother, brother and sister. After school I like to play baseball, skateboard, read comics, play video games, and sometimes play basketball with my brother. My favorite subject is art because I get to be creative and spontaneous with different colors and bring out my artistic talent.
My name is Tashona Dozier. I am a shy yet very confident 10th grader. I love to have fun with my friends and enjoy company. I think Stamford is boring because there isn’t much to do however I make the best out of it because I live on the West Side. My favorite place to eat is McDonalds, especially with family. I am very thankful to have been awarded Student of the Month.
Stamford Academy. I have a big family, but my main family is my mom, dad, and two brothers. I currently live in Stamford, CT on the Waterside. My hobbies are drawing, playing with my lunastiX, going on the computer, poetry, partying, listening to music blasted up loud, texting, learning new things, etc. My favorite subjects in the school of Stamford Academy are mathematics, art, physical education or what you would call gym. My favorite sports are lacrosse, rugby, archery, kart racing, snowboarding, baseball, martial arts, volleyball, fencing, etc.
My favorite subjects are math and Spanish. I strongly believe that in math there are very important skills to gain. Spanish is my favorite because I like to challenge myself in learning something new, like a language. When I started here in Stamford Academy, I was given the opportunity to join Build On. Build On is a non-profit organization that takes place after school every Thursday. They empower us as students to go out and help make a difference in our community. I love helping people and my community. I don’t really have a hobby because outside of school I mostly work and go to community service. The feeling that I get inside for reaching out to my community is priceless. To be a student of the month is one accomplishment that I will never forget.
My name is Elijah Thompson. I’m one of the friendliest, kind, hard-working students at
My name is Alexa Jean Rene. I am 17 years old and I am a junior here at Stamford Academy.
