A wide range of informal and formal assessments are utilized to assess student learning and to guide instructional decision making. Informal assessments include: teacher observations; teacher-student conferencing; student written, spoken, and presented products; student self-assessments, notebook checks and quick writes. Formal assessments include: common formative assessments and subject specific performance tasks. Students also participate in school-wide assessments from which data is collected, analyzed, and evaluated.

In alignment with new CT State requirements, Grade 12 students complete a Senior Capstone Project.
